Ultimate Tae Kwon Do Center The Ultimate Tae Kwon Do Center is located across from Delmae Elementary School. Classes are offered for children and adults.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics. In Korean, tae means "to strike or break with foot"; kwon means "to strike or b

reak with fist"; and do means "way", "method", or "path". Thus, taekwondo may be loosely translated as "the way of the hand and the foot." Taekwondo has no age limits and is a very good sport for children.

On behalf of the Ultimate Tae Kwon Do Center, I am reaching out to assure you that the safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority.

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, including guidance from medical professionals, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other health authorities.

I would like to share a couple of updates that might help you feel at ease when doing business with Ultimate Tae Kwon Do Center during these uncertain times.

We have put in place guidance for all our staff members detailing how to protect against transmission of the virus, including hand washing protocols and enhanced cleaning of high-touch areas at our school.

We have and will continue to maintain the cleanliness of the school. It is cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis. In addition to the daily sanitizing of the school, UTKDC does provide antibacterial sanitizing gel for students and parents to use before and after class.

We have signs posted within the school that ask that anyone (student and/or parent) with the following symptoms to please stay home:
FEVER (of anyone in the household)
COUGH
SNEEZING
BODY ACHE / HEADACHE
RUNNY NOSE OR CONGESTION
VOMITING AND/ OR DIARRHEA

If student do show up to class with these symptoms UTKDC Taekwondo staff will kindly ask the student and/or parent to go home to ensure the safety of our school.

In an additional form of caution, we will only be Practicing NON-contact forms and techniques.
Please make the best decision for your child upon all information.

We will continue to monitoring coronavirus (COVID-19) updates and will respond based on the advice of public heath authorities. If there are any questions or concerns please direct those to Master James (843- 615-4078)
