West Florence High School (top) emerged as the victor at the 2026 Florence Tennis Association (FTA) Girl’s High School Tournament this weekend!

FYI folks!

Due to the high chance of rain on Friday afternoon and Friday night, we have decided to delay the start of the 2026 Florence Tennis Association (FTA) Girl’s High School Tournament until Saturday morning.

All matches originally scheduled for 5pm on Friday will be moved to Saturday at 9am. All matches originally scheduled for Friday at 7pm will be moved to Saturday at 11am. An updated draw with all match times will be sent out this afternoon. Thank you all for your understanding as we adapt to the forecast.

West Florence, South Florence, Wilson, and Trinity will be competing against teams from across South and North Carolina in the 2026 Florence Tennis Association (FTA) Girl’s High School Tournament this weekend at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center!

West Florence, South Florence, Wilson, and Trinity will be competing against teams from across South and North Carolina in the 2026 Florence Tennis Association (FTA) Girl’s High School Tournament this weekend at the Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center!
Matches are scheduled to start at 5pm Friday and run until the finals, which begin at 10:30am Sunday.
Please come out and support our local schools as they compete against some of the elite teams in the Carolinas!

Congratulations to our 2026 McLeod for Health Florence Open Singles Champion Annika Penickova!! This is the first title win for this up and coming 16 year old. The action is getting intense in the McLeod for Health Florence Open with $30,000 in prize money up for grabs, with the finals scheduled for 9am Saturday and Sunday (we will update that if needed).
