Today we celebrate more than just a holiday — we celebrate the true reason for the season.

Easter is a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice and the incredible love of Jesus Christ. Because of Him, we are given grace, purpose, and the strength to keep moving forward — both on and off the mat.

At CTMA, we are grateful for the blessings in our lives, our students, our families, and this amazing community. We are reminded that everything we have and everything we are is because of Him.

May your day be filled with joy, peace, and time with the ones you love.

Just wanted to take the time and express my gratitude to all of our instructors and mentors Papa George Lim, Tutu Patrice Lim for my Wife and her knowledge in Lim Hawaii Kenpo. Sr. Professor Shaw For teaching me and giving me the opportunity to grow and continuously offering me advice and guidance. Sifu Figueroa, Kelly Corder, and Mikey Lim for continuing our education and offering advice when needed. And finally Auntie Kailani Koa for blessing us with a name to express our gratitude to everyone involved in making our art possible, God and our Ohana.

Thank you all for guiding us and helping to create a new and wonderful art may God Bless you. We are forever grateful to our Ohana for making this all possible.

Dear Ohana,

Over the past five years, our journey together has been nothing short of a blessing. What began as a small interest group has grown into something deeply meaningful—a family built on faith, discipline, and shared purpose.
As we’ve grown, we’ve taken time to reflect on who we are, where we come from, and where we are being called to go. Through prayer, guidance, and many conversations, we are stepping into a new chapter as a dojo.
Moving forward, we will be embracing a bolder presence in both our identity and how we represent ourselves. This includes an updated look, beginning with a new logo that reflects the strength, faith, and unity that define us.
Along with this, our style now carries a name (Given by GM Kailani Koa) that fully represents our foundation and values:
N̄a Lima Ke Akua Ohana (“The Hands of God, and Family”)
This name honors our art, our faith, and the Ohana that has made all of this possible.
Thank you for being part of this journey—past, present, and future. We are proud to stand with you as we continue to grow stronger together.

We’re excited to invite you to a special seminar happening on Saturday, March 7th from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at:

This seminar will be led by GM/Sr. Prof Ray Fisher from ACS Martial Arts in Chandler, AZ, bringing decades of high-level martial arts experience and restorative healing knowledge to this powerful training event.

This 2-hour seminar will be divided into two dynamic parts:

Part 1: Joint Locks & Control
• Practical joint locks and control techniques
• Emphasis on safety, efficiency, and body mechanics
• Applicable to martial arts, self-defense, and partner work

Part 2: Japanese Restoration Therapies
• Energetic healing focused on opening the body’s meridian channels
• Techniques may include Amma massage, breathing with movement, cupping, moxibustion, Qi Gong, and Tai Qi
• Designed to restore balance, improve recovery, and support healthy life/work balance

This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your technical skill, deepen your understanding of body mechanics, and explore traditional healing practices that complement martial arts training.

PAPA GEORGE LIM 🕊️
January 13, 1958 – October 25, 2025

Today we honor and remember a man whose impact extended far beyond the mat.

Thank you, Papa, for believing in us and for pushing us to be stronger — not only in our training, but in our hearts and in our lives. You taught us discipline, confidence, compassion, and the true meaning of perseverance. Those lessons will stay with us forever.

You were there for every milestone — from when my siblings and I started as white belts under your guidance, to the moments you proudly promoted us to black and brown belts. You promoted my brother to his 1st degree black belt, surprised me with my 2nd, and stood proudly as my husband earned his 4th degree (Master) at APSK. Just a few months ago, you were there again — cheering on our students as they tested for their advanced bests and even our first brown belts. Those memories will forever stay in our hearts.

Because of you, our lives changed in the best ways. Through your guidance and the community you built, I met lifelong friends — and through your yearly martial arts seminar, I met the man who would become my husband. That’s a gift I’ll always be grateful for.

Your spirit, laughter, and love will live on in every class, every bow, and every student you inspired.
You weren’t just our Grandmaster — you were our family.

We’ll carry your legacy with us always, Papa. ❤️🥋
