We are considering a Summer League for Jr Pro… it would not be as detailed as our regular league (jerseys, cheer uniforms, etc) but would offer an opportunity for our younger kids to continue their growth…

As I sit at home after the final day of Junior Pro for 2026, I cannot help but feel blessed.

Blessed to have a record number of kids take part.

Blessed to see parents, grandparents, family members, friends, ministers, and numerous others support young kids trying to play a sport.

Blessed that my kids are able to work and learn how to interact with people.

Blessed that “my kids” that work for me during these seasons become a forever part of our memories.

Blessed that we can pray with these kids before every game and in some way, show Christ to them through a small basketball league.

Blessed that it is so much fun to see kids grow and experience successes (and even sometimes failures).

Blessed that my wife (Rachael Wright) is so good at keeping us going that it looks really easy each Saturday.

What it boils down to is that our family has been blessed by Junior Pro in ways that we could never repay.

So thank you to every coach, player, cheerleader, cheer coach, worker, ref, and spectator for what was truly the best Junior Pro season ever!

And now? Let’s make 2027 even bigger!

ATTENTION: All games and practices scheduled for this weekend are cancelled out of an abundance of caution. Please communicate with parents and other family members.

I am not sure about rescheduling yet, will try to have a plan soon.

Tomorrow begins our next season of Junior Pro!

We are so excited for the season to begin, but there are a couple of housekeeping things:

1) Our gate workers have been instructed not to take any bill over a $50. We simply do not have the ability to keep breaking $100s every week.

2) The 1pm and 2pm games will have to move over to the Old Gym due to the home games starting at 2 tomorrow.

3) For the Old Gym: Please refrain from pulling out all of the bleachers as it causes a tremendous headache for those who have to push them in. (Pro tip: bring a lawn chair, it’s more comfortable anyway 😊).

4) Jerseys are in the concession stand, so coaches please arrive early enough to get yours and distribute them.

5) Please keep an eye on your kids! Safety and security are of the utmost importance, so please help us keep kids out of areas where they are not supposed to be.

Alright everyone… all teams are completed (we think) and the schedule is done.

Hey everyone… just a clarification and request

The teams went out late Wednesday night and we still had to make some changes/alterations. Therefore, some coaches may not have reached out yet. Please be patient and remember that games don’t begin until January 17, so we are all good on time 👍🏻

UPDATE: We can verify that this is the largest ever Junior Pro year with over 220 kids participating!

Games will not begin until January 17, so we have a couple extra weeks. Teams, schedules, and practices are hoping to go out tonight or in the morning, so everyone can begin planning.

Hey everyone,

We are in the process of formulating teams and hope to have that completed by tomorrow so coaches can began contacting their teams.

One thing we would really like to implement this year is involving some of our dads as officials for the games. We understand the frustration that can come when a young person is trying to referee for the first time. Please consider helping us out and reach out to Scott asap. (By the way, you will be compensated for helping!)

We are extending the signup deadline to Friday, December 5th. Please fill out the Google form and pay via Venmo or turn in your form to the elementary office.

We would love to add some more players and cheerleaders so please reach out to anyone you know that might be interested.
