The Flomaton High School baseball program has reached an unprecedented milestone this postseason, securing its first-ever player and coach selections to the upcoming Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) North/South All-Star Game.

Standout junior Kamden Martin has been named to the South All-Star roster, officially becoming the first player in Flomaton baseball history to earn a spot in the prestigious summer showcase. Joining him on the big stage is Hurricanes Head Coach David Strickland, who has been selected to coach the South squad. Strickland’s selection also marks a program first, making him the first Flomaton baseball coach tabbed for the event.

In addition to his duties,Coach Strickland will be a clinic presenter at the annual AHSAA Summer Coaches Conference, where he will share training protocols and program insights with prep coaches from across Alabama.

The AHSAA North/South All-Star Game features the state's top rising seniors and serves as one of the premier athletic showcases in Alabama. Martin and Strickland will represent the Hurricanes and the Flomaton community on the South squad later this summer.

FHS is offering physicals on Friday, May 1st. Students can be transported by bus to Flomaton Medical Center as long as the permission slip has been filled out.
Required Paperwork:
Before trying out, every player must have the following forms filled out:
1. Permission Slip (To ride the bus to Flomaton Medical Center)
2. Physical Form (Front side must be completed)
How to get your forms:
Pick up your packet that includes your permission slip and physical form directly from Coach Strickland. Don't wait until the last minute—get your paperwork squared away early!
