I rode the trail to take in Back to the Bricks this afternoon, but I was focused on this historical Flint made bicycle on display today at the old Durant-Dort office building.

Driving on Dye Road by the Genesee Valley Trail, I still see no sign of that trail crossing Dye to connect to the trail in Swartz Creek. Does anyone know when that trail will extend west?

I just returned from a Genesee Valley Trail bike ride after taking in the Juneteenth fireworks at Chevy Commons where I had an excellent view of the fireworks that began at 10 pm. While I have a headlight to get back, I wound up at the Chevrolet Ave. Chevy Commons parking lot instead of back at the trail. The trail's tunnel of trees can be scary at night. But I'm back at home.

While I've been wishing for street signs on the trail when they intersect with roads, I saw the next best thing with street names stenciled between Ballenger Hwy. and Center St.
