The weather looks clear for the ride into the 20th year Varsity Final Exam. Doors open right around 7 and things will kick off a soon as final brackets are posted. If you are looking for the most up to date brackets check the NJGSWL.com site before heading out. If there are any last minute scratches or changes we will do what we can to post them before 6:15am. Any bracket changes after that will be done at the tournament and will not reflect on the site. Best of luck to all wrestlers and congratulations on a great season of wrestling.

Congratulations to North Hunterdon on their first ever NJGSWL Playoff Championship win along with the Pegasus Division Title. It was a terrific playoff with some close wrestling all the way through. Congratulations to our Ta**us Division Champ and runner-up High Point on a so-close match.

Thanks to all the teams and especially to Edison for bringing wrestlers on a last minute bracket. Even thought they had a tough day numbers wise we really appreciate that they made a stellar effort and wrestled hard on the mat.

Do what you do and make this the best year ever! All the practices and time leading up to this season have prepared you for the mat now seize every opportunity.

Wrestling is the best sport.

Working on the Phillipsburg High School Gym at the moment and thought I would share some images of the building of the pit! Okay, know you are counting how many mats can go in but consider the bleachers have to be there too. I know one thing for sure - it is going to be a fortress when it is done. Vertical and horizontal reinforcement is really something in this building along with many of the wall are two block widths to a total of 20 plus inches..

Working at the new PBurg High School (union mason) and thought I would share an image of new gym. The school is going to be beautiful, large and have a commanding view both into PA and NJ as it sits right on top of a huge hill just on the north side of Pburg.
'The Pit' is being built as we speak. Wrestling fans get ready!

The school is scheduled to open Sept. 2016!

The time for the Civil War had to be pushed back one-half-hour to 6:30 for weigh ins.
