L'Arte Historical Fencing

L'Arte Historical Fencing L'Arte Historical Fencing provides a fun and safe environment to practice and study historical fencing with experienced instructors. Bethlehem, PA. and NYC, NY.

Our program is great for people of all fitness levels looking for a fun and unique way to exercise, with swords! The curriculum we teach is used for full contact swordplay in our clubs and HEMA tournaments. We do not require anyone to attend tournaments or full contact sparring but it is a lot of fun. We accept students of all experience levels

ages 18 and older. Minors are admitted on a case by case basis. We have locations in Reading, PA.

A quick update on our summer class schedule:

We will have our regular class on Saturdays: Noon to 2pm (ish). But we will be adding Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30. Tuesdays will be mostly unstructured time to do sparring, play with other weapons, or work on specific things as the students want to work on. Saturdays will remain a structured class with cooperative drills and lessons in the first hour, and progressive drills/constrained sparring in the second hour.
