We know that cleans are the best exercise for athletes to do. Does that also make it a useful movement for bodybuilders too?

Bodybuilding is a sport… obviously. But does that necessarily make them ATHLETES? This is the question I think should be answered before determining if it’s necessary to be cleaning. Maybe it can be useful for them, but not to the same degree for someone like a football player or track athlete.

So many people underestimate the power of PERSPECTIVE. If you tell yourself that you’re suffering through pain in the gym then of course you’ll be suffering.

Reframe your thoughts, and believe in them! Life will become much easier and hardship will feel much more manageable!

Brian Oldfield is one of the greatest shot putters of all time. Dude was an absolute animal. Threw 70 with the glide and eventually threw 75 feet, and his numbers in the weightroom were outrageous as well.

You would imagine he had access to some sort of world class strength training facility with these things in mind. Then you realize it wasn’t the resources he had because he literally worked out in an RV. It was the very mentality that had him training in an RV that led him to such great success.

brings up a really great point here. Steroids are very obviously a double edged sword. Yes there are benefits like size, strength, and recovery. These are huge benefits for people in sports like bodybuilding in particular.

What many of the people using these substances don’t research or tend to overlook are the less talked about drawbacks. Mental health, E.D.’s, and many other things are very important to consider especially for young athletes.

Do your research, be responsible with your body, and consult someone who knows their stuff!
