It was Double 50 lapper night at Flat Rock Speedway. Regan Jr. in the #99 broke a gear early in the night and we didn’t get to practice. The team hustled to replace the broken gear and worked to make qualifying. We qualified 11th. We were running in the top 10 during the first 50 lapper and 2 cars spun and hit the wall and Regan Jr. had no where to go and we wrecked pretty hard. Neither Regan Jr. or the other drivers involved were hurt, but the same can’t be said for the #99 car. It’s tore up pretty good. But can be fixed. We will be back. I can’t thank the Dan Ford Racing crew enough! We worked them overtime for what turned out to be a bad night for us. Thank you to the guys on the team Dan Ford Jr, Dan Sr., Don Lane Jr., Dave Jessie, and Tom. Congratulations to the winners and to my brother who brought his new #20 car out for the first time and was very fast. He ended up as one of the fastest cars all night and finished in the top 5 in both races.

Another eventful night of racing at Flat Rock Speedway. Regan Jr. was fast in practice, qualifying and the heat races. In the feature he was battling in the early laps of the race when the left front tire went flat, ending his night early. The Dan Ford racing team worked to get the black #24 car ready to race Friday. Regan Sr. Was behind the wheel. Unfortunately the rear brake calipers on the car seized up. We were forced to cut and cap the lines. Which forced us to qualify, run the heat and feature with no rear brakes. Despite the limitations the car was as fast as it’s been. We qualified 7th and won the 1st heat. The feature race didn’t go very well and we finished just outside the top 10. Special thanks to the entire team Dan Jr., Don Lane jr., Tom, Dave Jessie and especially my dad Dan Ford Sr. who set up and crew chief we the black #24.

Well we qualified 5th and had one of the fastest cars all night…again. Regan Jr. stormed to the outside in the first heat and won the race. We had a great starting position (5th) for the feature event. And then the green flag fell and on lap two as the lead pack was hard on the throttle coming out of turn 2 two, the car right in front us blew a motor and we had nowhere to go and tore our car up. Despite racing with tore up body, tire rubs and broke suspension, Regan Jr managed to salvage an 8th or 9th place finish. Very frustrating. Just can’t catch a break these first 2 nights. But our crew worked very hard all night so thank you to Dan Sr., Dan Jr., Don Lane Jr., Tom and Dave Jessie. We will

Had a very exciting and chilly opening night at Flat Rock Speedway! Regan Jr. qualified a personal best at 12.94, which was good enough for 3rd quickest. After crossing the line 2nd in our heat race, we suffered a mechanical failure as the clutch broke. It could not be fixed at the track, however with a little ingenuity and teamwork we were able make the feature and rolled off the starting line in 4th spot. The #99 was quick in the feature, there was a lot of action and passing back and forth. Regan Jr. drove a great race and ended up finishing 5th. Congratulations to Greg Studt on the win.
