We lost the water pump gasket in practice, put a new one in, and lost it again in the feature. Steven finished 10th.
We’re pretty sure that the fan blade extension caused the gasket to fail from vibration at higher RPM’s. We had a bigger gear in the car today and had never had this problem in the past.
Congrats to Paul Pelletier and the Limelight Motorsports team on winning the feature and the 2026 track championship.

Season championship night at Flat Rock Speedway. Steven will be there in the 54 car.
Joe and the 53 car are done for the season. We’ve had a fuel cell on order for a month and it still hasn’t arrived.

Steven qualified 10th. Started 10th in the feature and finished 8th. We threw multiple changes at the car during practice and after qualifying. Finally took a big swing at it before the feature and got it to react. Next race in two weeks and we should have both cars on track.

Unfortunately Joe and the 53 car will not be racing tonight. We found a fuel cell problem this morning that cannot be repaired.
Steven will still have the 54 car on track.
