Monday - Saturday from 1:00-7:00 PM
Sunday from 1:00-5:00 PM The Flandreau Aquatic Center, designed by Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. and constructed by G.A. Johnson Construction, both of Sioux Falls, was completed in May 2004. This recreation initiative was funded through a grant approved by Governor Bill Janklow and local funds. The Flandreau Aquatic Center

opened to meet reviews on May 28th, 2004. The Center features a "zero entry" pool, slides, diving board, lap lanes and various water features. Amenities were provided through the fund raising efforts of the Flandreau Aquatic Center Committee and the generosity of the local community.

With today's heat advisory, we want to remind everyone to stay safe while enjoying the pool! We are open from ๐Ÿ:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐๐Œ - ๐Ÿ•:๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐๐Œ. Please remember to stay hydrated, take breaks from the sun when needed, and watch for signs of heat-related illness in yourself and others.

We also want to thank everyone who joined us during our opening week! We had a fantastic start to the season and appreciate the community support. A reminder for water aerobics/lap swim!

With swimming lessons starting at 11, water aerobics and lap swim will be moved an hour earlier than normal. Both will run from 10am-11am for the weeks of June 8th-19th.

โ›ˆ๏ธ As a reminder, swimmers are not allowed in or near the water when there is lightning within 15 miles. Although the skies may look clear, there may be lightning nearby! These guidelines are in place to keep the pool a safe and fun environment for all!

Happy Wednesday!

๐ŸŠโ€โ™€๏ธ We are starting swimming lessons next week for the June Session. Texts were sent out to the contacts provided while registering, but we wanted to put out times on Facebook as well, just in case!

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ The dates for the first session are June 8th - June 19th, Monday - Friday.

โ˜€๏ธ We are excited to see everyone and have a great time learning how to safely have fun in and around the water!
