🎉 Help Us Celebrate 10 Years of Insurgent Fitness! 🎉

On August 29th from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM, we’re bringing together our amazing Flagstaff community for an afternoon of local businesses, food, competition, and giving back.

As we celebrate a decade of serving Flagstaff, we want to highlight and support the incredible small businesses, creators, and community members that make our city special.

We’re currently seeking:

🎵 Local DJs
🌮 Food Trucks
🛍️ Local Business Vendors
🎁 Silent Auction Donations
🙌 Event Volunteers

Our goal is to showcase local and lesser-known Flagstaff businesses while raising funds for Frontline Fenix, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting first responders, veterans, and their families through community connection and healing-centered programming.

Say Hello to Rob!!!! 👋

Coach Rob is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Marine Corps combat veteran, and father who has called Flagstaff home since 2015.

And we are excited to announce he’s our newest in house personal trainer 🎉

Rob has one goal ☝️
— helping people become the most capable version of themselves 💪
He works with veterans getting back in fighting shape, dads who want to show up as assets to their families, competitors chasing their next level, and everyday people who believe getting stronger is worth the work.

All levels, all welcome 🙌
The common thread isn’t background — it’s mindset.

Rob holds a degree in mechanical engineering and served in the Marine Corps before turning his focus to training. As a father and active jiu jitsu student and competitive shooter, he brings precision, commitment, and real-world perspective to every program he builds.

His belief is simple:
Strong people are assets — to their families, their communities, and themselves. Weak people are liabilities. Exercise is one of the most powerful tools for mental health, and getting strong might be the best thing a person can do for everyone around them!!!

FightNite Fridays — Every 4th Friday of the Month @ 5 PM

Our first event kicks off April 24th.

This is an Open Mat hybrid — all schools are welcome to come roll, hang out, and have fun.

The competition is designed to bring the martial arts community together while supporting a cause. Anyone competing for the title of "King of the Mat" is required to make a minimum $5 donation to Frontline Fenix, helping raise funds for first responders and veterans seeking alternative treatment for PTSD and other job-related trauma.

Open Mat starts at 5 PM
First match begins around 5:30 PM

Format: EBI rules, absolute division
(If turnout allows, divisions will be separated by gender and weight)
