Located on the majestic San Francisco Peaks, Arizona Snowbowl is just 7 miles outside of Flagstaff, Arizona, 2 hours from Phoenix, and 70 miles from the Grand Canyon. provement campaign, over the past five years, Arizona Snowbowl welcomed the expanded snowmaking infrastructure, first new chairlift in 30 years - Humphreys Peak Quad (in 2015-16), Arizona's first high-speed six-person lift - Grand Canyon Express (in 2016-17)l Hart Prairie Quad lift (ready for winter 2017-18) and new for winter 2020-21, the Arizona Gondola high-speed combination lift which replaces the former Agassiz lift. Arizona Snowbowl features 55 trails, eight lifts, two terrain parks, state-of-the-art snowmaking, on-mountain dining options, and lodging at Basecamp at Snowbowl. With a peak elevation of 11,500 feet and average of 260 inches of snowfall, Arizona Snowbowl is a true gem of the Southwest ski scene.
