50 miles. 13th overall. 2nd in his age group. Less than a year post hip resurfacement surgery.

jB took on the Tuscazoar 50 Miler and put his new hip through the wringer, sweat, rain, and 50 miles of trail, and came out with a podium finish in his age group. No chafe. No excuses. Just grit (and a little help from us).

Long time SNB Pro Athlete Jeff Browning is one of the toughest, kindest people in this sport, and right now he needs us in his corner the way he’s shown up for all of us for years.

Yesterday at TDS, Jeff suffered a heart attack during the race and is currently receiving medical care. We’re asking our whole community to hold Jeff and his family close in your thoughts and prayers right now.

Anyone who’s crossed paths with Jeff on a course, at a start line, or anywhere in this sport knows what an incredible athlete and even better human being he is: humble, generous, and an inspiration on and off the trail.

Remember when Instagram was just one photo, no audio, no fifteen carousel slides begging for a comment? Yeah, we’ve been here since then too. 😉 🐿️

SNB launched back in 2015, when a single square photo was basically a masterpiece and nobody had opinions about trending sounds yet. The app has changed about a thousand times since. We haven’t. We’ve upgraded packaging to make it even more earth friendly and added essential oils to blends to make them smell yummy, but ultimately the same few ingredients you can actually pronounce, same salve doing way more than anti-chafe duty.

Simple wasn’t a trend for us. It’s just the only way we knew how to do this, because it works.

Three tries. Three DNFs. Zero quit.

This weekend, Brian Reynolds toes the line at Leadville for round four. A double amputee with more marathons and summits behind him than most of us will ever attempt, and there’s still one buckle he hasn’t been able to lock in. Leadville doesn’t hand anything out. It’s sent him home three times. He keeps coming back anyway.

That’s the whole story with Brian. No quit in him, not even a little.

Good luck this weekend, Brian. The whole Squirrel’s Nut Butter crew is behind you, every single mile. Go get that buckle. 🐿️
