Hard Enduro Outfitters is honored to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence. We also would like to celebrate our relationship with France and Sherco.

France has played a massive role in the story of the United States, not just in politics or history books, but in the very foundation of our nation. When America fought for its independence, France stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us. Their support, leadership, and belief in freedom helped shape the country we live and ride in today.

That friendship didn’t end with the Revolution. It lives on in one of the most iconic symbols in the world, the Statue of Liberty. A gift from France, Lady Liberty is more than a monument, she’s a reminder of the bond between our nations, a symbol of shared values, and a tribute to the belief that freedom is worth fighting for.

Hard Enduro Outfitters started in November 2018 in Cave Creek, Arizona — not as a storefront, but as a small, rider‑driven hard enduro support crew built around Sherco and the unforgiving world of Hard Enduro.

Two people shaped everything from day one:
• Wayne Dickert — race‑support leader, technical mentor, and the steady presence behind HEO’s early identity.
• Mitch Carvolth — rider, builder, and the person who managed the shop starting in 2018, keeping operations, inventory, and rider support running from day one.

Together, Wayne and Mitch built HEO into a race‑born support system long before it became a formal business.

2018–2020 — Sherco & HEO Join Forces
HEO opened its first Cave Creek location and grew alongside Sherco USA, who handled all U.S. distribution at the time:
• Importation • Dealer development • Racing partnerships • Factory1 Racing Team development
HEO became a trusted resource for riders navigating parts availability, bike setup, and the demands of hard enduro.

2020–2023 — The Race Support Era
*HEO moved to a larger second location in Cave Creek with expanded retail and workshop space. During this period, HEO worked closely with Sherco USA to support rider development and help build future hard enduro talent.
•Wayne’s race‑day support and Mitch’s hands‑on management made HEO a reliable force while Sherco USA continued to grow its national footprint.

2023–2025 — Surviving Industry Changes
*Mitch’s expertise eventually led him to work directly for Sherco USA as an account manager, strengthening the connection between HEO and the brand even further.
*A major shift came in June 2025, when Sherco US officially launched as the new national distributor, replacing Sherco USA.
• Sherco USA operated until mid‑2025 • Sherco US launched with a new structure focused on stabilizing parts availability, improving logistics, and strengthening dealer support • Factory1 Racing Team discontinued
*HEO stepped up during the transition:
• Stocking parts during the distributor handoff • Helping riders adapt to new support channels • Maintaining continuity for Sherco owners across the U.S.

HEO was built for the riders, by the riders. It’s what we live for….

Did you know Hard Enduro Outfitters began as a race team? Prior to 2018 Team TOPAR was lead and managed by HEO founder Wayne Dickert. Team TOPAR is a long‑standing, rider‑driven race support and fabrication program based out of Trinidad, Colorado, originally founded by Tony Paradisa in 1998. While Tony Paradisa founded the company, Wayne became the public voice and race‑support leader that riders across the Southwest and Rocky Mountains know and trust.

Wayne was the driving force in Team TOPAR’s success and known for:
*Being the race‑day support guy who shows up at events
*Providing technical expertise to riders under pressure
*Helping competitors fix bikes mid‑race or between stages
*Offering setup guidance, durability insights, and troubleshooting
*Representing TOPAR at hard enduro events, off‑road races, and community gatherings
*Being a calm, experienced presence when riders are stressed or bikes are failing

Hard Enduro Outfitters didn’t begin as a storefront or a business idea. It started on the trail, in the heat, the dust, and the chaos of Arizona hard enduro.

Before the name existed, we were riders breaking bikes in the same brutal terrain you ride today. We learned quickly that hard enduro exposes every weakness: in your bike, your gear, your prep, and your support system. And in the Southwest, riders didn’t have a true home base. No shop specialized in the parts that fail when the terrain turns violent. No one stocked what racers actually needed. No one understood the difference between “trail riding” and surviving hard enduro.

So we built the shop we wished existed.

Hard Enduro Outfitters was created for the riders who push past the limit — the ones who don’t quit when the canyon walls close in, when the bike is boiling, when the trail disappears. We built HEO for the riders who finish what they start.

Father’s Day hits different in hard enduro.
It started with Marc Teissier and a vision for a blue bike that could conquer Erzberg. Today, it lives in every dad zip-tying handguards at 10pm, every father loading bikes before sunrise, every rider who learned “just send it” from the guy who raised them.

Marc founded Sherco. But you the riders, the fathers, the trail-side coaches you’re the ones carrying it forward.

To the Sherco dads building the next generation of racers, one rock garden at a time this one’s for you.
