FHSCCA Lady Canes

Willoe Padgett pitched 6.2 innings allowing 1 earned run and racking up 9 K’s en route to a region Win against Brooks County.

Chloe Nipper came in clutch in the bottom of the 7th inning to drive in the winning run to secure the victory in walk off fashion.

Our FHSCCA Lady Canes traveled to Brooks County yesterday, but the game was postponed due to lightning. The game has been RESCHEDULED FOR TODAY at home! Come out this afternoon and cheer on our Lady Canes!

Down 10 RUNS heading into the bottom of the 3rd inning, the Lady Canes could have gave up.

THEY DIDN’T.

🔥 The bats came alive.
🔥 The defense locked down.
🔥 The Lady Canes SHUT OUT VALDOSTA THE REST OF THE GAME.

And when it was all over…

🥎BHMS Lady Canes Player of the Week🥎

This week the entire team was selected as Player of the Week. They have put in a lot of work over the last week. The BHMS coaching staff is very proud of each of them. In yesterday’s game against Wilcox the girls showed grit-they didn’t quit. Keep working hard girls!

BHMS Lady Canes flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on two hits to take the lead, 6-4. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Ella Mckee that drove in two.

Natalie Rowe led things off in the circle for BHMS Lady Canes. Natalie over three and one-third innings had four strike outs.

EB Brantley and Mckee were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for BHMS Lady Canes . Mckee led BHMS Lady Canes with two runs batted in. Ashlyn Holley paced BHMS Lady Canes with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing five walks for the game. BHMS Lady Canes turned one double play in the game.
