As we took the year off to support our sister city, SSBL-MILWAUKEE, in their celebration of 50 years of gay softball…and 1 of 5 founding cities that originally started the World Series….

We are looking forward to welcome you back to Madison in 2027! July 2nd-4th!

Have a great time at the Dairyland Classic this weekend and we hope to see you next year!

Emma Carroll and Mike Monnich were the winners of the Doug Hinderliter Character Award this year 👏

Recipients are non-board members of the league who have demonstrated Outstanding Character in their actions both during the games and in the administration of the league 🥎

Congratulations to Taylor Clinton
in winning the Commissioner's Award!

Taylor showed great dedication and volunteerism in managing multiple teams, raising our level of social media awareness, getting us involved with the Big Gay Market and updating the Badgerland Pride Softball website.

Taylor has been a great asset to the organization and we are happy to have her!

Congratulations to Lee & Mike!

Part 1 of many posts from our End of the Year Awards Banquet.

Lee Kampa and Mike Westley were our 2025 class of inductees into the Badgerland Pride Softball Hall of Fame!

Lee served as our Asst. Commissioner (2 years) and Commissioner (4 years) when the Recreation League grew to 14 teams! He was on the Big Cheese when they took 2nd place during the GSWS in Columbus, OH. Lee coached many teams over the years and is always willing to teach someone.

Mike has been Madison's UIC for many years for both our competitive league and tournament. He makes the trip from Milwaukee to Madison on Sundays during the summer. Mike had already been inducted to the NAGAAA/International Pride Softball Hall of Fame and SSBL-Milwaukee Hall of Fame. Madison now makes it three!

Congrats to you both and welcome to the Hall!
