Huge weekend for the Valkyries
Back-to-back shutouts with a 6-0 win over the Queens and 4-0 over the Blaze. 10 goals scored, 0 allowed — complete team effort from start to finish. Defense locked it down and goaltending was unreal all day.
Awesome to have Lisa back in her first weekend after injury — she looked great out there. And big shoutout to Sarah Hughson for stepping in and making a huge impact for us.

Weekend 3 can’t come soon enough. After weekend 2 was cancelled due to the rain, we’re ready to get back out there for some big rematches. 🏒🔥

We’re back this Sunday for two big matchups. First up, the Selkies -coming off a big opening weekend and shootout win - then we go head to head against the undefeated Nightmares. It’s April vacation week so rosters are a little short, but we’re ready to battle and keep the momentum going. Let’s keep it rolling.

Huge opening weekend for the Valkyries.
Two games, two wins.
2-0 over the Blaze.
4-1 over the Queens.
We came in short-handed but never let it slow us down. Everyone stepped up, battled hard, and played a complete team game from start to finish.
And Kirsten… absolute brick wall in net all day.
Happy with weekend 1 resulted and ready for weekend 2 to keep building chemistry.

Last but not least we have our coaches for the season. We’re proud to welcome Coach Alex Sherman — a top-tier men’s player bringing elite skill, vision, and leadership — and Coach Andrew Carter — widely recognized as the best goalie in the world. We’re excited to have them on board.
