’Twas the night before Season 22, and all through the house, not a dancer was stirring—not even a mouse. The dance bags were packed and the students tucked in bed, while visions of Miss Tanya’s danced in their heads.
The toddlers with their “firsts,” the seniors with their “lasts,” we’re about to begin a season sure to be a blast! With laughter and friendships and memories to make, we’re ready for every leap, turn, tumble and shake!
Away to the studio they flew like a flash, skipping and leaping with plenty of sass! “
Now plié, now ball change, now passé with jazz hands, on pas de chat, on pirouette—Mom, grab my Therabands!”
And then in a twinkling they arrived at the door, for dancing and learning is what they lived for. As they walked in the building and took a look around, they heard familiar voices and smiled at the sound.
Miss Emily was smiling, “So happy you’re here!”
Miss Savannah was cheering with plenty of cheer!
Miss Fanette said, “Welcome!” with a smile on her face, while Miss Mary brought joy to the familiar place.
Miss Brittany was ready to dance and have fun and Miss Brianna cheered, “Season 22 has begun!”
Then Mr. Dylan called, “How are ya?!” with delight and suddenly everything just felt right.
Miss Jess, our studio manager, kept things in flow, making sure all the dancers had somewhere to go.
While Miss Judy at front desk was ready to say,“Welcome back, dancers! We’re glad you’re here today!”
And then Miss Tanya appeared with a smile and a cheer, the owner whose heart has brought us all here. For twenty-two seasons, she’s opened the door, creating a place where our dancers can soar.
The students sprang to classrooms with excitement and grace, “C’mon boys and girls—it’s time to take your place!” With music turned up and the countdown begun, it was time to get moving—it was time to have fun!
From tiny first steps to seniors’ final bow, there’s no better place to be than Miss Tanya’s right now. Through hard work and laughter, through sweat and applause, we’ll celebrate every dancer, each dream and because.
So here’s to the memories we’re about to create, to friendships that grow and the moments we’ll celebrate. To every new challenge, each victory and fall— we’ll dance through it together and give it our all!
As teachers instruct and our dancers shine bright, we wish happy dancing to all—and to all a good night!
