Most people toss their seeds on the ground and stand there waiting for them to grow.

This is a section from my ebook, Gym Talk #6, worth repeating.

They just stand there. Staring down at the dirt. Wondering why nothing is happening.

The more motivated ones might even water the seeds. But they still stand there waiting.

Day after day. Nothing.

So they get pi**ed. Move on to the next thing. Blame bad seeds, bad soil, bad water. A few rare ones blame themselves.

The part nobody wants to sit with.

Whoever said you get to reap the harvest of the seeds you plant today?

Why do you feel entitled to that harvest?

You might do all the planting. Someone else does the nurturing. And generations from now, someone else gets the fruit.

Maybe that sounds unfair. Maybe that pi**es you off.

But before you go there, answer this first.

Whose harvest are YOU currently living off of?

The profession you work in. The gym you train in. The methods you use. The knowledge you have access to. None of that appeared out of thin air.

Strength coaches and trainers who worked for nothing. Who helped people because they loved it. Who never made a dime from it. Laid the foundation you’re standing on right now.

They planted seeds they would never see grow.

So what are you planting?

And more importantly, are you planting anything at all?

Or are you still just standing there staring at the dirt?
