First Solid week of meal prep and great days of lifting. Both of us have left the gym feeling better for the first time in a long time. Both of us struggling with back (me) and Knee ( her) issues. We have been rehabbing ourselves and have made some great progress! On Saint Patrick's day I weighed in at 277lbs which is ridiculous. Since then I dropped a total of 20lbs. Ive gained 5lbs back but I can see The inches dropping. Our friend posted this funny picture of a couple decked out for 4th of July. But that meant more to us. We printed that off and stuck it on our bathroom mirror. We have set a goal and we are going to get there. The top picture was last October us crippled and enjoying a walk on the trail. We dont want to be that anymore.
We started over a month ago with baby steps.
Take all our vitamins/supplements everyday
Cut the Caffiene as much as possible.
Get better rest.
Then came plans to meal prep. Recipes and routines/cook schedule.
Then finally a training regimen that fit us best.
Frankly I dont think there's a better order to do this in. People get so overwhelmed and get bad advice and hop on countless trends that fail.
Its really simple and if your serious about it then it will work.
Be prepared for set backs! Don't let them get you down.
Party's
Family dinners out.
A few extra drinks with friends lol.
And of course sickness and injuries.
Power through them and do the best you can do in these situations to stay on track.
Stay Hydrated.
Get your fiber in!
Nutrients from veggies!
Get appropriate Macros for your activity level.
Macros are Protein, Fats and Carbs.
Make sure those Macros come from the healthiest options you can get.
Most of all when the time is right just enjoy the Dam Cupcake,Pie, Donut or whatever little cheat snack you want to.
Wish us luck and we wish anyone else luck on their journey as well! We weigh in on Monday!
