I’ve been trying to force myself to use “discipline” to post online daily. I’ve been told this is the best way to grow my business and increase my brand. Sometimes I want to, sometimes I loath to. I was living with guilt when I wasn’t. If success is measured by an online persona , count me out.

Instead, I’m most comfortable putting energy into my in-person relationships, appreciating the hands that feed me, instead of always seeking new hands. When I have an abundance of energy, you’ll hear from me. When my energy is limited it will be focused on my core groups, you won’t hear from me.

I was also told people want to know me, they aren’t interested as much in the success of my clients. So I decided to make it more about me and my image. Truth is, I don’t derive my self image from my own likeness, rather it’s derived from the success of those I’ve helped to empower. God has blessed me with an abundance of love and will continue to provide exactly what I need, when I’m mature enough to handle it.

We’re all called to follow the path with joy. Don’t ever let someone else redirect your joyful path, regardless of their best intentions. The only guiding light we need is that of God’s.

So I’ll be here to engage with DM’s and comments. I’ll be liking your stuff and will still be posting, but only when I’m called to. I hope you’re inspired to take your nose out of your phone and look up. See if there is anyone in need and say hello. Know you’re blessed, exactly where you are.
