Peninsula Gun Club, Door County We are the only gun club in northern Door County, wether you want to utilize our 100 yard outdoor rifle/pistol range or shoot trap.

We have many different activities to offer and are family friendly!

This Saturday 13th. The family of Jan Johnson will be hosting a final memorial at Peninsula Gun Club. The memorial starts at 1:00 and runs until 5:00. The family is supplying all the food and beverage. If you wish to bring an hord'oeuvres hordourves horsesduvers snacks please feel free. Desserts are welcome also. There will be a band for background music. There will also be a shotgun salute to Jan with his ashes in each shell. This will be at the beginning of the events. There will be no alcohol allowed if you plan on shooting.
Pass this on to everyone you know and come support the family of a great man. Bring you favorite stories and pictures to share! Please bring your own lawn chairs as there has been a great response!!!!!

Think Winterfest is all about eating and playing games? Nope, nope, nope. There are also a bunch of fun activities that we've planned for this year's fest, including:

The Cosmic Glow Shoot at the Peninsula Gun Club, Door County this Friday, February 6. Head to the Peninsula Gun Club's headquarters on Juddville Road for this family-friendly glow-in-the-dark trap shooting.

The Ice Rescue Demonstration with Gibraltar Fire - Rescue Association Inc.
Gibraltar Fire & Rescue is a simulation of the rescue of individuals who have fallen through the ice. Through the use of specialized equipment and responders wearing cold-water immersion suits, they show how they pull victims to safety. A truly cool thing if you've never seen it!

The Cherry Pit Spit Contest Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market. This is your chance to show off your pit-spitting skills among some pretty intense competition!

And of course, the always fun Candlelight Ski at Peninsula State Park.

Jan Johnson passed away Nov 19th. We all will miss his wit and wisdom...He is being cremated and plans for his ashes are in the works. I have been asked by the family to post some information on any services. Please do not call Carla or any family members as they are inundated with calls. At this point there will be no services.....planning is in the works for a spring memorial at Peninsula Gun Club. I will keep you all posted when a date is set. The family is planning a few events at this memorial. If you have any questions please contact me! There is a Memorial Fund set up in his name. Please send memorials to:

TICKETS

• $20.00 each - Tickets are limited!
• Must purchase a ticket to enter a buck and be eligible for Big Buck Prizes
• You do not need to harvest a buck to buy a ticket for raffle prizes.
• Largest buck of each day (1” minimum point) earns a free ticket for raffle.

BIG BUCK PRIZES

1st Place - Minimum $400 cash
2nd Place - Minimum $300 cash
3rd Place - Minimum $200 cash

Scoring: Bucks measured by spread + points (1” or longer).

WEIGH-INS

• November 22 - November 29: 5-7 p.m. at Peninsula Gun Club
• November 30: 5–6 p.m.
All bucks must be registered by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 30. No late entries! Drawings start immediately after weigh-ins.

Public welcome! Join us at the club this Sunday for the Packers vs. Giants game! Raffles, silent auction 50/50, football pools, spin the wheel $15 at the door for all you can eat! The event supports the Peninsula Gun Club and our Gibraltar/Sevastopol USA Clay Youth Trap Teams. Casey's Pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers from Generations, German potato salad from Coyote Roadhouse, Cheese, deserts and more!
