…and that’s a wrap. After 7 1/2 long weekends (15 days) of having the honor of hosting Comal County Trophy Bowling, Senior Tri County, Ladies Tri County, and Comal County Junior Bowling (and winning a few titles along the way 🏆😊), the fall season has come to an end. We want to give a huge thank you to our board members that showed up and helped before, during, and after these events. Also, a big thank you to our pin setters, score keepers, bartenders, family and friends. These weekends could not have been possible without all of your endless help. THANK YOU!!! Finally, we want to thank all of the clubs that came out to bowl and support our love of nine pin bowling. Until next time…

We are Fischer!!🎳

As the Fall Trophy Bowling comes to an end this season, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to these guys!! If you bowled during any of the Comal County Trophy Bowling, Tri-County Senior, Tri-County Ladies, or Comal County Junior Bowling at Fischer Bowling Club - Opie & Luke were your pinsetters!! In addition to these events, they also set during our regular league nights, Roll Offs, and volunteered to set for our Junior Bowling Practices. To give you an idea of the hard work they put in as a pinsetter: over the course of the past couple months, they set 7 1/2 weekends for trophy bowling, totaling 15 days at 3 shifts each day which was a total of 360 games. They returned a combined total of 25,920 bowling balls, set up countless pins, and dodged a few flying pins along the way😳🎳. Our pinsetters are the heart of nine pin bowling - without them, we could not bowl. Next time you see a pinsetter, please thank them and tip them well - they work hard, so we can all have a good time!!

Wishing our Junior Bowlers Good Luck this weekend as they compete at Comal County Junior Bowling Tournament. They have had a short practice season due to Fischer Bowling Club hosting Comal County Trophy Bowling this Fall- there were very few weekends available for Junior Practice. Through it all, these kids persevered - showing up to practice willing to learn and have fun. We want to give a big thank you to Coach Daryl and Coach Jared for y’all’s support, patience and time. Win or Lose we are so proud of y’all. Smile big kids - y’all are the future of Fischer Bowling Club. We are Fischer!🎳😁

Willkommen zum Fischer am Freitagen

This weekend Fischer Bowling Club will be hosting the Comal County Junior Bowling Tournament. We thought this would be a great time to brag about our junior bowlers for a bit. Junior Bowling is a great activity for the kids. Our kids range in age from 5 to 15. These kids work hard each week at practice learning not only the fundamentals of the game, but also bowling etiquette, team sportsmanship and most importantly the tradition of nine pin bowling. There are no bumpers or gutter guards in nine pin bowling. Kids learn to keep the bowling ball on the lane (at least most of the time😜) at a young age. These kids also learn to keep score by hand, there is no machine/computer scoring for them. Just like in adult leagues, they have team captains. These young captains must learn which of their team mates are full house bowlers, left or right side bowlers, etc. Bowling is a unique sport that these kids will be able to continue playing when they are 90, and we hope they still love it then as much as they do now. If you are in the area this weekend, stop by and cheer these kids on. Win or lose, we are so proud of our Junior Bowlers. They are the Future of Fischer Bowling Club.

Continue to watch our page for when our Spring Junior Bowling Session will start. If you have a kiddo between the age of 5-15 that would be interested in bowling, we would love to have them join our teams.

Honoring our Past • Embracing our Future • We are Fischer
