shington State salmon charter license and THE only charter targeting these fish exclusively on the fly! Each and every trip is a unique fly fishing adventure and no day on the South Puget Sound is the same as the last. One day may be spent sight casting to rising Coho salmon busting bait on surface and the next we may be dragging seams and casting to subsurface structure and ledges searching for Chinook Salmon and or sea run cutthroat trout. Our skiff based program eliminates access issues entirely and opens up nearly the whole of Puget Sound to our one of a kind guided saltwater fly fishing program. Fly fishing for albacore is a whole different world than fly fishing the sound, but it is absolutely incredible!

It was OG South Sound Skiffs reunion day today. Was awesome having Bart out. Like old times!

Bright skies and warm temps were not ideal for fishing but we still had a solid day with some great fish put in the net.

The Silver Surfer and a pink clouser style fly were the hot patterns today. Had lots of fish follow flies that would attack when the retrieve was suddenly sped up. Be sure to vary your strip when fishing the sound.

I'm home from tuna town and back out on the sound. First trip back today did not disappoint! Plenty of hungry cutthroat ...

I'm home from tuna town and back out on the sound.

First trip back today did not disappoint! Plenty of hungry cutthroat including some real quality fish.

Beautiful, crisp fall day on the sound with a couple of awesome guys.

The next six weeks is my favorite time to fish for sea run cutthroat and will be providing some great fishing. Hit me up to get a day scheduled and come out and enjoy this awesome fishery!

Hey all, in an effort to contribute to a fantastic fundraising campaign to support the good folks down in Australia I am auctioning off a guided sea run cutthroat trip for 2 out of my boat on Puget Sound. Every dollar of the winning bid will go to the Yellow Dog Community and Conservation Fund who know how to administer the funds to those affected in the fishing community, even in far away Australia. This auction will end on 1/15 at 8 PM Pacific time.
Bidding will start at $250. Please comment any bids. A great chance to give back to those in need, and get a fun fishing trip in the process! If you've never targeted sea run cutthroat from a boat, it's a pretty remarkable fishery in as beautiful a setting as you could ask for.
