Academy of Martial Arts Studies is more than a karate school. We are a true Academy of Martial Arts Studies where we accommodate students from the age of 3 on up and instill in them the precepts of health, education and commitment. We offer more choices, more classes and have more experience than any school in the area. Most of our instructors are academically degreed as well as belted in a variet

y of martial arts disciplines which will be taught at The Academy. Ateru Goju - traditional Goju Japanese Karate Taught in a version that includes elements of Okinawa as well as China Hand seamlessly intertwined. It is a beautiful but strong, flowing but lethal art form that should only be used if one's life is threatened. Our martial arts instructors have over 100 years of martial arts experience ranging from 40+ years to a minimum of 6 years per instructor. In addition to training with the internationally ranked staff at The Academy, membership will be able to train through distance learning via web based lesson plans and will have the opportunity to occasionally train with the world class martial arts leaders who sit on the Board of Directors of Ateru Worldwide Association (AWA). Our facility offers an 1,600 square foot training area so we can accommodate the running of more than one class or split the class up into different levels at the same time. This allows students the ability to work in a group of peers and at their own growth rate. Come explore what so many have deemed groundbreaking and revolutionary while at the same time, credible and wholly traditional.

Hello dojo family. I wanted to share with you that right now (because of students moving up to other classes or out of town) we have a few floor spots open in some classes.

If you have a relative or neighbor that has shown interest in your karate training, tell them about these limited open spots.

Mon-Wed Tiny Tigers (age3-5.5) 2 spot open
Tues-Thurs Tiny Tigers 2 spots open
Mon-Wed Karate Kids (age 6-12) 4 spots open
Tues-Thurs Karate Kids 4 spots open
Adult Classes 4 spots open per section.

These are first come first served and will go fast once I let the word out. Our 2-month Try and Train is just $170 cash, they train 2x per week and receive a free $50 uniform to keep. Voted "Best of Findlay" Martial Arts studios 3 years in a row. Let's share this with our community.

You do not have to be from Findlay, you only need to believe in what I have been doing for 50 years now. Dedicating my life to traditional Goju Karate and sharing that knowledge with folks from age 3 to 83.
