On the Ball Soccer Camp

Whether you're a first-time 'little kicker' or an experienced high school player, we have a Soccer Camp that will launch your game to the next level!

On The Ball Soccer Camp is committed to player development through demonstration and participation. We have over 20 years experience of running soccer camps in Northwest Ohio. We develop our campers' soccer abilities by showing them how to play. Our coaches are strong players who have interscholastic or collegiate playing experience. We believe in making the game fun and putting players in an environment where they can reach their full potential. Give our camps a try this summer!

Patrick Masarra will lead our goalkeeper training at the Residential and Travel Camps this summer. Patrick is an Assistant Coach at the University of Findlay and coaches for Pacesetter South SC. His claim to fame is that he caught a ball at the USMNT-Canada match in 2011 and ended up on TV! It is Patrick's second year with OTB.

Jake Russell is a defender at the University of Findlay, from Fairfield, OH. He plays club for Cincinnati United Premier. Coach Russell enjoys coaching because he gets to share his love of the sport with others and hopes they learn to love it the same way or more. It is Jake's first year with OTB, where he will work the Residential Camp.

Rylie Debacker will coach the Residential, Travel and Hancock Camps this summer. She is a midfielder at the University of Findlay, from Woodhaven, MI, who played for the Michigan Hawks. Riley loves coaching because she loves the game and loves the ability to give young athletes an enjoyable time through such a fun sport. It is Rylie's first year with OTB.

Jack Atkinson returns to the On the Ball Soccer Camp staff this summer! Jack had a few years back in England after completing his degree at the University of Findlay, then came back to the US to get his MBA at Tiffin University, where he was a Graduate Assistant Coach.

Izzy DePestel is a defender at the University of Findlay, from Hartland, MI. She played for Legends FC. . Coach DePestel enjoys coaching because she loves getting to share her love for the game with others, and connect with the youth. It is Izzy's first year with OTB, where she will work with the Travel Camp.

Dillon Burkett is the Head Coach of the Reserve Team at the University of Findlay, as well as assistant boy's coach at Liberty Benton high school and a staff Coach at Greater Toledo Football Club. His favorite soccer teams are FC Cincinnati and Liverpool. He loves coaching for the connection to a team and community it provides and to help players improve themselves both on and off the field It is Dillon's first year with OTB and he will work the Residential Camp.

As you know, we have a great staff at On the Ball. Our Coaches have played the game and know how to teach! We are going to introduce our staff to you over the next few days, with a different staff member each day.

Coach Mark Sleasman is Assistant Director for OTB. He will be working all our camps. His daughter, Navy, just turned one recently - she keeps him busy! They just visited the Toldeo Zoo last week. Mark's looking forward to working with YOU this summer!
