The Findlay Force are excited to announce we have hired Delainey Thompson as the cheer/dance assistant coach for the 26/27 season!

Delainey has been dancing for 16 years and spent many of those years training, performing and competing in competitive dance. Through her experience, she has developed discipline, dedication, confidence, and a true passion for dance. She is excited to assist and help create a positive, and encouraging environment for the dance team. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm while watching others grow.

✨ Performers, this is your time! ✨

Due to overwhelming interest and numerous requests, the 2026–2027 Findlay Force dance&cheer auditions are officially going virtual!

Beginning June 20, registered auditionees will receive a short choreography combination to learn. To audition, submit:
•A video of the provided choreography
•A 30–40 second solo showcasing your skills
•Headshot & resume

All audition videos must be submitted by June 27 at 10:00 AM.

Video interviews will be scheduled and held that afternoon. If you are unavailable on June 27, please let us know and we will gladly arrange an earlier interview time.

The Findlay Force is extremely excited to announce we have hired Makenzie Stephens as our cheer/dance head coach for the 26/27 season!

Makenzie is a dedicated dance professional with a strong background in dance education, choreography, and leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Dance, graduating from Bowling Green State University, and recently completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Michigan University.

Dance has been a central part of her life for over 24 years. It has provided her with opportunities to develop discipline, teamwork, creativity, and leadership.
Her experience includes competitive dance training, choreography, performance, and teaching a variety of styles.
Throughout her collegiate dance career, she served as a student choreographer for the University Dance Alliance and Bowling Green State University's Dance Repertory Ensemble, creating and presenting original works for performance.

Most recently, she worked as a member of the Detroit Tigers Rally Cats, engaging with fans through promotions, crowd interaction, choreography, and entertainment.

Her background in psychology and counseling, combined with her extensive dance experience, allows her to connect with athletes and performers in a meaningful way while promoting teamwork, accountability, confidence, and personal growth. She is passionate about helping dancers and cheerleaders develop their skills, reach their goals, and discover the joy that comes from performing.

She is excited to be here with the Findlay Force as the inaugural spirit team coach!
