Sydney Catron (‘28) has been a dedicated member of the team since 2024. She helps lead our team both in and out of the ring through dedication, leadership, and passion for the sport. We’re so excited for the season ahead and grateful for everything she does for our program!

✨Senior Spotlight ✨

Brooklyn Rivera!

Brooklyn has been a member of the Roanoke College Riding Team since 2022, competing in both the Novice and Limit divisions throughout her IHSA career.

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in Art with a concentration in Arts Management & Leadership

Plans after graduation: Brooklyn is planning on continuing to work at Prestige Gymnastics Academy while exploring different graphic design career opportunities.

Favorite memories on the team: team bonding at Mary Beth’s house, competing at regionals, annual secret santa, & team media days

Ellie Williams!

Ellie has been a member of the Roanoke Riding Team since 2022, competing in both the Novice and Limit divisions throughout her IHSA career.

Degree: Bachelor of Arts in International Relations

Plans after graduation: Ellie is planning on continuing to work at the Art Factory while exploring different graduate school opportunities.

Favorite memories on the team: team dinners at the farm, carpooling on the way to shows, & slow days at the barn

Lucy Roberts!

Lucy has been a member of the Roanoke College Riding Team since 2023, competing in both the Pre-Novice and Novice divisions throughout her IHSA career.

Degree: Sociology and Political Science

Plans after graduation: Lucy plans to continue working in the ski industry while pursuing a career in resort operations.

Favorite memory on the team: Group lessons with alumni (‘24)
