The Fillmore Little League Annual Golf Tournament is back thank you to, Phoutha and Corrie. We had a great group of golfers and everyone had a lot of fun!

The biggest misconception of youth baseball is parents think lessons teach kids baseball. The kids are over-lessoned and the baseball IQ suffers. They aren't playing enough sandlot wiffle ball anymore.

That's where they learn to play loose, have fun and learn the game without parents hollering at them. There's too many lessons, too much pressure and not enough fun. And we're wondering why 73% quit at 13.

Dear Parent(s),

Thank you for allowing your child to participating in Fillmore Little League this year, you might also want to consider another baseball opportunity...the Genesee Rapids Baseball Camp held at the Houghton University ball park.

There are actually two identical camps, each for three days from 8:30-11:30am.
Tuesday, 7/1 - Thursday, 7/3 OR
Thursday, 7/10 - Saturday, 7/12

Your child will have the opportunity for specific, skill-based instruction which is then applied in game settings. Rapids' players and coaches will be providing the instruction. This is always a highlight of the summer for some, so make sure your child doesn't miss out!

Also, if your child wears his/her Rapids Baseball Camp shirt to a game, you and your entire family will get free admission to one of the Rapids home games this summer.

A registration form is availble.

The Genesee Rapids Baseball team is one of the sponsors of the Fillmore Little League.

10-U Softball Results

ECLV Youth Softball & Baseball League girls softball team knocked off Fillmore Little League - Fillmore, NY tonight in Salamanca NY 10-7 we have an elimination game upon us on 7/3 as Salamanca Little League Baseball and Softball (0-1) will be playing Fillmore (1-1) for the right to face ECLV in the Championships. Come on down to Prospect Elementary in Salamanca to cheer these young ladies on.

In tonight’s Little League match ups LeRoy Little League (3-0) knocked off Fillmore Little League - Fillmore, NY (2-1) in Portville to advance to the finals.
Meanwhile in Little Valley , New York the team from ECLV Youth Softball & Baseball League avenged an earlier tournament loss to Wellsville Little League Baseball.

We would like to Thank our gracious host Portville Little League for all they have done for Little League and the District Tournament.

All Games from here out will be played in Little Valley NY

Next Game is 10am on July 4th @ 10am please come out and watch a great game with ECLV and Fillmore.
