Legacy Centurions Football
Parent & Player Welcome Letter
Dear Parents and Players,
Welcome to another exciting season of Legacy Centurions Football. We are looking forward to a great year of competition, growth, and teamwork. We have a strong group of returning players and are excited to welcome several new athletes to the program this season.
Our goal is to create a positive football experience where players develop skills, discipline, confidence, and a love for the game.
Practice Information
Practices will be held at:
Idaho Central Legacy Fields
Practice time:
5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Players should arrive 10–15 minutes early so practice can begin on time.
Please note:
• We will not be practicing during Spring Break.
Equipment
Players are responsible for bringing the following items to every practice and game:
• Cleats
• Mouth guard
The program will provide:
• Football pants
• Jersey tops
• Helmet
Please make sure your player brings their cleats and mouth guard to every practice and game.
Game Schedule
Games will be held on Saturdays.
Game times are currently TBD while the league finalizes team counts and scheduling. Those details will be released shortly.
Season outline:
• First Game – April 4
• Games every Saturday in April
• Games the first two weeks of May
• Final Game – May 8 vs Boise Black Knights
We have also scheduled an exciting football extravaganza on April 25 with teams from:
• Meridian
• Homedale
• Filer
There is currently an expected bye week on May 2.
No travel to Boise is expected this season. Most games will be played locally.
End of Season Celebration
To celebrate the season, we will host a team party:

Pizza Pie Café
May 16
This will be a fun opportunity for players and families to celebrate the season together.
Coaching Opportunities
If anyone is interested in getting their feet wet with coaching, now is a great time to get involved.
We currently have a few openings on the coaching staff and always welcome parents who want to help support the team and work with the players.
Please reach out if you are interested.
Player Expectations
We ask our players to bring the following attitude to every practice and game:
• Work hard
• Respect coaches and teammates
• Encourage one another
• Represent the team with pride
Attendance at practice is important so the team can prepare properly each week.
Game Day Checklist for Players
Players should bring the following to every game:
• Cleats
• Mouth guard
• Helmet
• Football pants
• Game jersey
• Water bottle
• Extra socks
• Positive attitude and great effort
Players should arrive at least 45 minutes before game time unless instructed otherwise.
