Jude was busy this winter working on some decoys for Perham. He ended up not able to attend so he will be selling his creations at his grandfather and grandmother's store. Look for them in the near future at Fertile Hardware Hank

Im pretty protective of my kids. But at 9 years old i trust my son to go spearing on his own. He has been listening. He pays attention. Ive passed down reapect for the water. I cut the cord yesterday. Him and his cousin went out on their own and brought home some supper. The excitement of seeing them run home with their catch is fulfilling. This is what darkhouse spearing is about. Its a heritage. Its about passing down knowledge and getting kids out of the present and participating in the past. Things his great grandfather taught are being passed down to him. I could not be more proud of both of them.
