If you want a new skatepark this is a must attend meeting. Fernandina Beach City Commission will be voting to approve the expenditure to move forward with the design project for a new skate park.

Meeting is tomorrow Nov 16th at 6pm City Hall

At FFSP, we are deeply committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship. Our vision for the new skatepark is to ensure it not only enhances the community but is also built with sustainability and eco-friendliness in mind. In line with our values, we’ve moved away from giving out plastic trophies. Instead, we handcraft awards for all our events using old, broken skateboard decks. This year’s TK Skate Jam and TK 5K Run awards are all made by hand from repurposed decks. Let’s remember: Re-use, Re-cycle, Reduce, and Re-purpose!
