⭐️ A BUSINESS WORTH RECOGNIZING ⭐️
I want to publicly thank Dominic “Donnie” Russo with True Line Polygraph LLC for the professionalism, kindness and support he has shown us while planning the Susky Legends Catfish Tournament.
Although Donnie will not be conducting the polygraph examinations at this year’s tournament, he has still offered to support our event and its mission. He had nothing to gain by helping us—he simply chose to step up when we needed guidance. He has been phenomenal to work with, and that deserves to be recognized.
We learned an expensive lesson during this process. Our original arrangements with a LOCAL examiner fell apart after they changed the date, and the deposit we paid was considered nonrefundable. Unfortunately, that was money that otherwise could have benefited the Roller Nation Foundation. You would assume that a company interested in the truth would be truthful.
I’m not sharing this to attack anyone. I’m sharing it as advice to other tournament directors and organizations:
✅ Get every detail in writing.
✅ Confirm the dates, refund policy and cancellation terms.
✅ Clearly define everyone’s responsibilities.
✅ Know exactly what happens if circumstances change.
✅ Never assume a verbal understanding is enough, even with a polygraph company.
Doing your due diligence and getting everything solid in advance can save your organization—and your charity—a considerable amount of money.
