Get ready for fast formations, groovy angles, and plenty of steeze with Joey Mire, Stephen Grandy, and Kaz at the Halloween Boogie! 🎃🔥

Joey Mire started jumping right here in San Marcos in 2004. With 3,000+ jumps, 500+ tunnel hours, five FAI vertical world records, and a USPA national medal in 2-way VFS, he loves helping people fly fast and hold hands with friends in the sky.

Stephen Grandy brings clean lines, smooth flying, and unnecessary amounts of steeze to perfectly good exits. This angle and freefly coach is all about helping you progress while keeping things safe, fun, and groovy.

Kaz is bringing angles, tracking, and freeflying to the mix. With 1,700 skydives, 100 tunnel hours, and four years in the sport, this former military jumper is ready to get flying with y’all.

October has been a busy month for our Skydiver Training Program! 🪂 We’ve got so many students working through their dive flows, building confidence, and learning a ton along the way.

Chris Fudala and Alex Ogden are bringing the XRW action to our Halloween Boogie! 🪂🎃

Chris Fudala has over 5,000 jumps and 11 years full-time in the sport. A USPA Coach Examiner, AFF Instructor Examiner, canopy coach, and traveling examiner for TRC, Chris loves teaching and flying parachutes. His highlights include a 29-way XRW and “TeXXas 20-ways, baby!”

His thoughts on tunnel flying? “You can’t fly parachutes in here…” 😂

Alex Ogden started skydiving in 2016 and calls Skydive Spaceland Dallas home. With over 3,000 jumps, he enjoys just about every discipline, with XRW and canopy flocking being his latest pursuits. Whether he’s guiding STP students, taking baby birds on their first movement jumps, or filming local competitions and boogies, Alex loves learning and sharing the stoke.

Daina “Tubbs” Tubbs is joining us behind the camera for the Halloween Boogie! 🎃📸
Daina Tubbs

With 18 years in the sport and nearly a decade calling San Marcos home, Tubbs is a tandem instructor, AFF instructor, videographer and professional fun haver. You’ll usually find her grabbing a bite, challenging someone to pull-ups or hustling to catch another load.

She’s up for just about any skydive, but a no-plan freefly jam is her favorite. She’ll be capturing photos and video throughout the weekend, so bring your best costumes and biggest smiles!

Spaceland San Marcos born and raised, Eli earned his license here a little over six years ago, working grounds and pouring every dollar back into the sport. As soon as he could start wingsuiting, he went for it, and now he’s a full-time LO at his home DZ! 🤘

A child of the rad ’80s and a teen of the grunge ’90s, Chris loves trout fishing, long walks on the beach, and jumping with shiny, happy people. He made his first skydive in 2003 over Lake Taupo, New Zealand, and wishes we could all work together to bring back parachute pants. 🪂

Helaine Rumaner is bringing the Shenanigans to our Halloween Boogie! 🎃💥
Helaine Rumaner

With 5,300+ jumps since 1999, Helaine brings years of 4- and 8-way competition, big-way experience, and national-level judging. She’s been part of multiple world records and organized both the 2022 Texas women’s 40-way record and the 2024 Women’s World Record Full Break Sequential 2-point 68-way in Perris.
