What a way to wrap up our final Midwest Thunder .25 Quarter Midget Racing Series weekend! 🏁❤️

Great friends, great racing, lots of laughs, and some pretty awesome memories made along the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to celebrate Colten’s final races in a quarter midget!

🏁 Heavy Honda
Heat: P6 ➡️ P3
B-Main: P1 ➡️ WIN 🏆
A-Main: P7 ➡️ P8

The car just wasn’t where we needed it in the A-Main, but he worked hard.

🔥 Heavy 160
Heat: P4 ➡️ P2
A-Main: P4 ➡️ WIN! 🏆

And that win came with something extra special! Colten got to take home the traditional Heavy Man “Catch Me If You Can” award — a piece of Midwest Thunder history that has been passed down through Heavy 160 winners over the years. Such a cool tradition and an awesome one to be part of.

Heat: P5 ➡️ P5
B-Main: P2 ➡️ transferred to the A-Main
A-Main: P8 ➡️ P7

That car was TIGHT in the A-Main — at times he looked like he might put it right over! 😳 But he hung onto it and finished P7.

And just like that, Colten’s final Midwest Thunder weekend is in the books — and what a way to do it! Two B-Main transfers, heat race wins, lower main wins and a Heavy 160 A-Main victory, the Catch Me If You Can award, and one heck of a weekend with our racing family. ❤️

Quarter midget racing has given Colten so much over the years. Countless laps, wins, championships, tough races, lessons learned, friendships that will last far beyond the racetrack, and memories our family will have forever.

We are SO proud of everything he has accomplished and the racer he has become. But most of all, we’re excited because this isn’t the end — it’s the next step.

Now it’s time for a new car, new tracks, new challenges and a. whole new adventure. 🔥🏁

🏁 Our Final Club Race at Michigan Motorsports Racing Association – Waterford 🏁

What a fun day for our last club race at MMRA — and a little bittersweet knowing this was Colten’s final race ever at Waterford. ❤️

Colten decided to bump down from Heavy Honda to Senior Honda for a couple of reasons. There wasn’t anyone running the other Honda classes, and he wanted some extra practice before Midwest Thunder next weekend. But probably the coolest reason was getting the chance to race with a couple of his racing friends that he’s never been able to race with before!

Senior Honda:
Colten started P6 in the heat and drove all the way up to the WIN! 🏁 That put him starting P2 for the feature. It was such a fun race to watch, and he finished P2, right behind his good friend Evans Racing Definitely a pretty cool way to spend his final day racing at his home track!

Heavy World Formula:
Colten started P3 in the heat and finished P2. He started P2 in the feature, drove to the front, and took home the WIN! 🏁🏆

A great way to close out his final race ever at Waterford — a track that has given us so many memories over the years. ❤️🏁

Now we’re getting excited and ready for our final Midwest Thunder next weekend! One more big race weekend. Let’s go CJC Racing! 🏁

This chapter is ending soon, but Colten's not letting off the gas just yet!

This Saturday, CJC Racing is rolling into MMRA in Waterford, MI. His quarter midget career is coming to a close, but the mission remains the exact same: go fast, run clean and chase that checkered flag. Every lap counts, every turn matters. Time to put on a show!

The growth of Quarter Midget racing at the Rumble In Fort Wayne has been nothing short of phenomenal as the event has become a 'must' stop on any team wanting to experience the ultimate in competition. Our team has marveled on how the young kids and their teams have accepted the Rumble philosophy of professionalism and acceptance of being treated like every other competing Rumble division. We look forward to their return inside Allen County War Memorial Coliseum December 18 and 19.
