The goal is to be successful 😄! Make lifts! Achieve a total!
A total is at least one good lift on the Sn**ch and one good lift on the Clean and Jerk. Your opening lift should be a percentage you are confident you will make (90%-94%) After making that first good lift feel free to send it.
The weight on the bar will only go up. So if you miss a lift you can either attempt that weight again or choose to go up. Sn**ch session will be first, once everyone has complete 3 attempts we will move on to Clean and Jerk. Members we would love for you to stick around, help load weights or cheer on the lifters. Holler if you have any questions.

In weightlifting competition the athlete must execute the following lifts in this order: The Sn**ch and the Clean and Jerk. Athletes will have maximum of 3 attempts at each lift. The lift begins with the barbell on the ground and is finished with the barbell locked out overhead, at the judges “down” signal. A press out is not permitted. Once the barbell is loaded, the weight may increase but not decrease over the course of session.[[[————]]]

Spring has sprung bringing us a perfect time to show case winter gains! Saturday, June 16th CrossFit Tuebor West and Barbell for savages will be hosting our first in-house Olympic Lifting meet. Lifters will have 3 attempts in front of judges and spectators to establish a max sn**ch and clean and jerk. Singlet not required. This event is for Tuebor West and Barbell Club members only and will be held from 11-2 so feel free to bring food, hang out and yolk some weights!
