That is Mike. Nine years at Xtra Mile Fitness.

We did not ask him to smile like that. That is just what nine years of showing up looks like on a Sunday.

If you have been telling yourself you are too old or too out of shape or that you missed your window, look at this photo again.

The window is still open.

We want to introduce you to Tami.

Tami is a recently retired teacher and has been a member at Xtra Mile Fitness for over ten years. Life has had its seasons and there have been stretches where she had to step away from the gym. But she always comes back.

The reason is simple and she will tell you without hesitating.

She always feels welcome here. Every time she walks through that door it feels like coming home.

The other thing Tami will tell you is how much the coaching means to her. She cares about doing things correctly. About form and moving the right way. She has been to other gyms where nobody paid attention to that. Where she was just another person in the room.

That is not what she found here.

Coach Antoinette chatted with Tami recently to hear her story. What has kept her coming back for over a decade. What the coaching here means to her. And her proudest moment inside these walls.

She said finishing something she did not think was possible makes her proud.

We feel the same way watching it happen.

76 years young… and getting better with age.

I had the chance to sit down with Adele recently for a goal review, and I couldn’t stop smiling when we looked at what she’s accomplished this year.

Since January, she’s lost 22 pounds and lowered her body fat by 6%.

At 76.

Pretty incredible.

Adele has been part of the Xtra Mile family for about two years and is a regular in our Ladies Strength program. Getting to watch her continue to invest in herself, get stronger, and enjoy the process is one of those things that makes coaching pretty special.

I talk a little more about her journey in today’s video, but mostly I just wanted to celebrate her.

Adele, we’re incredibly proud of you.

Keep going. I have a feeling there’s a whole lot more ahead.

Three people. Three very different journeys.

Tammy is 58 years old and has been a member at Xtra Mile Fitness for almost 15 years. Fifteen years of showing up, putting in the work, and building something that has become a real part of her life.

Mike is 68 and has been here just under 6 years. He gets on that rower with the same intention every single time. That is what consistency looks like over the long haul.

Judy is 48 and joined us three and a half months ago. She is under that bar building a foundation that is going to serve her for years.

Different ages. Different timelines. Different starting points.

Same decision to keep showing up.

We say it all the time and we mean it every single time. It is never too late. These three prove it every week.

If you have been telling yourself you are too old, too out of shape, or that you missed your window, come talk to us. A free No Sweat Intro is waiting and there is no pressure. Just a conversation.

Meet Amy. Three months ago, she walked into Xtra Mile Fitness in her 50s having never touched a barbell before.

Since then, she's built real strength, the kind that shows up everywhere, not just under a barbell. That's exactly what we wrote about in this week's blog: it is never too late to start strength training, especially in your 40s and 50s.

If age has been the thing holding you back, this post is for you. Full story in the comments 👇

Before Xtra Mile Fitness had doors to walk through, Chris was already working with Corey.

He was one of Corey's original clients before the gym ever opened. He was here from the beginning, training in group classes for years. Then life pulled him in another direction.

Almost a year ago he came back. This time with a different approach. Personal training three days a week with Coach Corey and Coach Antoinette.

Corey sat down with Chris mid-session recently to ask him what has stood out most since rejoining.

His proudest gym moment? Getting his first unassisted pull-up. Something he has now done many times over.

What keeps him coming back? His body fat has dropped double digits since he started. That kind of visible, measurable progress does something to your motivation that no pep talk ever could.

How does he describe the coaching? Motivational. But what he really values is the attention. Having a coach who is always watching. Always making sure he is moving correctly, progressing properly, and not wasting a single session.

That is the difference between working out and being coached.

Chris knew that difference before XM existed. And he is living it again now.

If you have ever wondered whether personal training is the right fit for you, this video is worth watching.

And if you are ready to find out for yourself, book a free No Sweat Intro and let us talk.
