1. Why is a PBR Scout Day important?
You can get your initial metrics for 2024, build your liger protlle, and get exposure on social media. This is one of the Tigers most significant events of the winter, and it allows the players to show off their skills they have been developing this off-season. College coaches use Prep Baseball Report as their Wikipedia to find and research players. Players PBR profile is searchable by Google, which gives them exposure when college coaches type in their name into the search engine. 2. What is PBR Scout Day?
It’s a Tiger-only event for classes 2024-2028. All participants at the Scout Day will have their performance videotaped and hosted in their player profile, along with their verified statistics and scouting reports at PrepBaseballReport.com, which is subscribed to by hundreds of colleges and pro scouts across the country. Top players will be listed accordingly in our statewide player rankings. The showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball Report website, which is subscribed to by more than 1,000 colleges. At this event, each position player will go through a full pro-style workout, including a round of BP (Videoed), a defensive workout with throwing velocities (videoed), and a laser-timed 60 (videoed). Pitchers will throw a 15-18 pitch pen (videoed). We will see who’s been putting in the work.
