GOOD MORNING ACTION TRACK FANS & RACERS. The crusade to shut down Action Track continues this Tuesday night at the Community Development & Public Safety Meeting led by our neighbor Fredrick Engelhardt.

As we continue to follow the rules, Fredrick continues to push his agenda to shut the track down. We always operate as good neighbors, but it's just never enough.

Racers, Race Fans, please come out tomorrow night Tuesday June 9 at 7:30 PM and let the borough know. No one is here trying to cause any harm, we are all trying to enjoy our "Quality of Life". We come in for 12 events a year, for a few hours a night, enjoy our freedoms and go home.

No, the world is not perfect, yes there are things others do that we don't care for. But it is America where we all have our Freedom within rules and laws. Maybe one day everyone in America will all get along and realize the wonderful things we all have in life and appreciate them.

Recap from Airport Speedway

Heat race 5th to 6th. Car was good and turned the 3rd fastest lap. There was a lot of hard racing and some very bad decisions being made in front of Byron keeping him from advancing forward.

Feature We rolled off 18th he passed 4 cars in the first lap but jumped the cushion and lost them. Once the field strung out the bottom was the place to be and passing was hard. Eight laps in the car lost power and he pulled to the infield. This morning when getting the car ready to wash we fired if off and  wiggled the wires on the ignition switch and the car shut off.  We think this was the issue we replaced it and fired the car off. It sounds good. Couldn’t get it to shut off again so hopefully that was the problem.  We also did a fuel pump check which seems to test ok so we should be good to go for the next race at McGrew motor Plex.

This is next up for us. Hoping to carry some momentum from BAPS to Airport. Maintenance has been completed and we even mounted a brand new right rear. Super proud of what Byron has learned over the last couple of races. Huge THANK YOU To all our sponsors and don’t forget to get your raffle tickets.

Tickets have arrived for our Speed week fundraiser. Speed week for us begins July 25th and ends August 1st. 6 races in 8 days! All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Byron’s car to support these events. We owe a huge that you to the donations we received for this fundraiser Stone Creek Metalworks, Roberto’s Auto Detailing , and Amanda Dashler. Tickets are $5 ea or 5 for $20. Drawing will be held on 7/27.

Tickets can be purchased in person or through Venmo and we will fill them out and send you a picture of the tab.

Super proud of Byron tonight. Started 10th and fell back to around 15th on the start. Drove his way back to 7th!

Byron was able to pick up his heat race win tonight. We will see what the redraw brings!

Recap from McGrewBid Motoplex. Byron started 2nd if his heat and finished 5th. Feature we started 14th and finished 16th. Car was fast and he made some good moves working his way up to about 12th. Good close racing had him fall back some. It was a 1 groove racetrack and Byron just got stuck on the outside. All in all car ran great and we finished a race this year so we will take it. Back at it tonight Baps Motor Speedway.
