Rudis team store closes tonight at midnight! Get your orders in now for season!

Parents, wrestlers, community,

Rudis is fast becoming the brand for wrestlers and many teams get gear from them. Last year we put our order in after the first week of practice and didn’t get it until post season.

To aleveate this stress and to get our gear on time, Decatur Wrestlings Rudis store is OPEN!! If you are a wrestler, fan, or parent, we urge you to put in your orders NOW to ensure you will have your gear for matches and tournaments. We will be opening it back up for the first week of practice only and that gear will arrive (probably) the same time as last year.

Good morning Gators! We’re about a month away from the first official day of wrestling season (Nov. 14), but we need you to do somethings before that:
1. Spread the word about wrestling! And get them signed up on the Remind App. The more people wrestle, the better our team will be.
2. Make sure you’re eligible by completing all documents from Final Forms (in your student email). You and your parent need to do these.
3. Get an updated physical with your doctor. Schedule this NOW so you can get it done before the first day of season.
4. Start working out if you haven’t already! Text Cardwell on the Remind App to see if he is working out in the morning before school. Shadow wrestle for 6mins, go run 2 miles, do 100 push-ups and squats when you wake up, etc.
5. Open mats may start as soon as next week. Updates will be sent out as soon as possible!
Let us coaches know if you have any questions, be sure to recruit kids to come out! Brick by brick! Go Gators!

Hey Gator wrestlers! Hope you’re all off to a great start to the school year.

The coaches were doing inventory of equipment last night, and we’re missing A LOT of gear. As of right now, we don’t have enough equipment to outfit a JV team.

If you have any Gator Wrestling gear (warm-up, singlet, shorts) please turn it in to Coach Cardwell.

Also if you have some shoes/headgear that you no longer use or grew out of, we would love to have it. We’re happy to come pick it up if need be.

Day 2 of the high school camp is complete. We had a great time these last two days trying to make the city of Federal Way better at a sport we all love.

Tomorrow starts our middle school camp! Can’t wait to have these kids attend, help, and learn some more!

Don’t be late or Coach Cardwell will make you stay after and help put away mats! (As seen in the last picture)
