If you’re a PNW youth bowler, sign up for the 1st tournament of the season Saturday & Sunday, August 29th & 30th at Secoma Lanes, and earn points towards 2027 TPC.

We are all done…

Sam finished 21st & Eddie 33rd out of 60 finalists, and a total of 83 scratch bowlers.

Eddie made his goal getting onto the first page and going positive.

Sam made the goal of going positive winning additional total pin count.

1st game:
Sam lost with a 221 & opponent 258
Eddie win 266 & opponent 149

2nd game:
Sam lost with a 200 & an opponent with a 269
Eddie won with a 268 & an opponent bowled 213

3rd game:
Sam lost with a 179 & his opponent got a 184
Eddie lost with a 189 & his opponent bowled a 238

4th game:
Sam won with a 174 & his opponent bowled a 162
Eddie lost with a 150 & his opponent got a 175

Game 5 (final game):
Sam won with a 187 & his opponent got a 186
Eddie won with a 230 with no opponent & got the +30 pins.

It’s now time for semi-finals.

Sam qualified in the top ten, and Eddie squeezed in by one position.

Each win in these five head to head matchplay games, gets an extra 30 pins.

Every pin matters.

The top 16 go onto the step ladder finals.

60 scratch bowlers have a chance to bowl the top 16 JBT bowlers for the win.

Will Sam & Eddie make the cut?

The champions of the most prestigious JBT event of the season are crowned today! TPC Quarterfinal action starts this morning as we work our way towards awarding these beauties! 😍😍🎳🎳

P.S. if you know, a youth bowler in the West Coast, they should totally check out Junior Bowlers Tour Southwest tournaments.

Every year, from August to June, there are tournaments in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico and Colorado.

Not only are they an amazing challenge, but there are a ton of opportunities to earn scholarship money.

Now it’s time to bowl day two (of three) on a new pattern (see previous post for a photo of the pattern)
