Good Morning, Twin Lakes!

Well, not quite the typical March morning to wake up to. We’ve got snow and more coming throughout the day.

There is almost 2” already at the course in places and with the healing greens, we are going to stay off them for the day.

PLUS it’s only supposed to get to 35 or so degrees out. Not a bad day to have a rest.

If you’re able, the Seattle Golf Show is going on at the Puyallup Fair Grounds 10-5, Ben will be there today with other members, Kathy Saturday and Tom Sunday. Stop in and say hello, tell some friends about it! We’re giving away a couple rounds of golf to help advertise some membership specials.

We are at about 50% capacity and have room for just 7 or 8 more groups. This event almost always fills up completely unless it’s a hurricane outside, so I do not recommend waiting until the last minute!

Call the pro shop, email Ben, text Ben, anything works to get signed up!

You do not need a handicap, but we will estimate one for you. Please be sure if you or your guests do not have a handicap, provide an estimate of what you think they might typically shoot on 9 or 18 holes. If they don’t play often or much at all, just include what they have done in the past with golf!

Good Morning Twin Lakes!

We are confirming our 10AM start today. We will be able to go off the front 9, though.

For today, the grounds crew is going to stay off the greens as the forecast does still call for snow and snow/mowing don’t go well together.

We will update you this afternoon about tomorrow’s start.

As of this afternoon, the forecast has us starting tomorrow out in the low 30s and trending this way all week. It is unlikely, pending a big change in the forecast, that we will be starting on time the rest of the week.

We will share information as quickly as possible and let you know once we’ve made a plan for each day or whatever shape the plan takes.

Thank you for your patience while we protect our golf course and encourage positive growth and playing conditions.
