Sun was out and so were the divers. Nice sized group last week. The bloom is still with us. Has a few gear mishaps but there was enough stuff among the collective group to get everyone underwater. Someone once told me to be like Santa.... "Make your list and check it twice" when you load up for a dive. A big thanks to Jazmine and Maria for hosting post dive festivities. Low tide and a mild current made for an interesting dive. The bloom is in full swing. Vis below the muck was about 5-7 ft. Octopus were spotted below 65ish ,ft. Also the ratfish came out to play. This week we'll be at Redondo. 4:39/6:30 meet.

🦈Afternoon divers!🦈

It is ALMOST that time of the year again! We are going to be attending the annual Shark in the park event hosted by the MaSt Center! We are very excited to have a booth there again this summer in support of Shark In The Park, celebrating the Six Gill capital of the world!

This year our location has started a Go-Fund me to help with funds for a shuttle bus for the event! This way parking and getting to and from the event will be a bit smoother than last year! Last week Jeff and Julie went on a dive at Three Tree Point! They headed out just after low tide and had a bit of current for the first half and an easy drift back to the entry point. They got to see 3 or 4 stubby squid, a couple of red octopus and a few fish! It was a nice dive and a good chance to check out her new gear.
