No one player is bigger or greater than a Team! Last night, Jalen Hurts was given every reason to whine, pout and to check out mentally...he didn't! Instead, he supported his teammate Tua Tagovailoa and became his second set of eyes on the sideline. Being 25-2 as a starter for the Crimson Tide, he probably felt emotions that he had never experienced on quite possibly the biggest stage of his life...but he didn't let them surface. He understood that there is a time and place for everything and last night wasn't the time. Shoot, at the end of the day, he is a National Champ and played a huge role in getting his team to the Ship. I applaud this young man for being a true Quarterback during the highs and lows...accepting his role and leading in a way in which 99% of QB's today could've done. Don't let your pride get in the way of success!

Three things to take from this as a QB:
1. At any moment, ANYONE can be replaced! So push yourself to new heights daily.
2. Accept your role no matter how big or small...and be the be the best at it!
3. No individual is bigger or better than the TEAM!

Continue to lead your troop's men...during the season or in the off-season, they are watching your every move! As you lead...they will follow!

QB's, be confident in your ability and let nothing get in your way. Whether you are 1st, 2nd or 3rd on the depth chart, wake up with the same mindset to outwork, outlast and outlearn your competition or your opposition! Leave no doubt!

With the guidance of this man, we were able to reach new heights on the football field together. Learning from him both as a player and a coach, he pushed me past my comfort zone and has helped me fully understand the game. He is a great individual and is now calling plays and Leading the Pack for a group of fortunate Quarterbacks @ Rice University! Congrats on all the success and continue to push for more! Iron sharpens Iron!

"I am writing this in regards to a man I know very well Noah Shepard. I played with Noah in 2005 and coached Noah from 2006-2009
As far as Quarterbacks go he was one of the absolute best I have ever been around! The approach and attitude that he brought every day I was around him was outstanding! He brings a energy and a focus that not many bring day in and day out.
Watching the young man grow into a fantastic football player, leader, father; now husband. Has been one of the more rewarding things that I have seen in my professional life.
As football player/coach. Noah is as knowledgeable and passionate about QB/WR play that I have ever been around. With his experience as a 4 year starter in college along with NFL/CFL experience. His ability to teach young people how to fine tune their mechanics is and will be unmatched. Noah not only knows what it takes to become a great football player he knows how to teach young people the right way. There will be no task too big or too small for him. He will educate football players not only in technique but attitude and leadership. That is what makes good players great!
I have 3 sons of my own and have either played or coached quarterbacks my entire life. I would still take my sons to Work with Coach Shepard."

Noah was the first quarterback coach I had and I have worked with him for the last year now.
