🏆 WALK-OFF CHAMPIONS 🏆

Down by 4 with just 6 outs to go, Rake Showcase refused to quit. The boys fought all the way back, capped off by a clutch, game-tying hit by Buddy D’Alfonso in the final inning with 2 outs! To extra innings we went, where Jack Eickstaedt delivered the ultimate heroics—lining a base hit to right field to WALK IT OFF and capture the championship trophy! 🥇 Big shoutout to Christian Grullon for throwing 5 dominant innings in relief! The squad went an undefeated 4-0 at the Big Show to start the fall off after a dominant summer season. These boys just keep on raking! 💪🔥

🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BOUND 🏆

RK Showcase put on a dominant display to secure a 10-0 shutout victory against the PA Stars. A Piotrowski led the charge on the mound with a stellar 4.0 innings pitched, allowing just 3 hits and striking out 6 batters. Offensively, the team capitalized with 10 runs on 8 hits and 7 RBIs, backed by strong performances from S Gilchrist (2 hits, 2 RBIs) and key contributions throughout the entire lineup.

RK Showcase put on a dominant performance game 2 to go 2-0 on the day. The offense exploded for 9 hits and drew 9 walks, led by B Glover’s perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate with a double, 2 runs, and an RBI. B Boss also had a big day, going 2-for-3 with a triple, 2 runs, and 2 RBIs, while S Gilchrist drove in 3 runs on a key hit. On the mound, the pitching staff delivered a combined 3.0-inning shutout, holding ASSA to just 1 hit while striking out 6—C Grullon started with 2.0 scoreless frames and 4 strikeouts, and S Gilchrist closed it out with a clean 1.0 inning and 2 strikeouts.

RK Showcase secured a 7-5 victory against PA Stars game 1 at Big Show. The offense tallied 9 hits and 6 RBIs, powered by multi-hit games from A Piotrowski, S Gilchrist, C Grullon, and R Del Buono, who each contributed 2 hits. S Gilchrist led the charge with 4 RBIs and 2 runs scored, while R Del Buono and B Boss each crossed the plate twice. On the mound, C Scala started with 3.0 innings pitched and 2 strikeouts, and A Piotrowski closed out 2.0 dominant innings, allowing no runs and racking up 5 strikeouts
