You do not have to look suicidal to need support. Withdrawal, hopelessness, sudden mood changes, increased substance use, giving possessions away, or saying others would be better off without them should be taken seriously.

Ask directly, listen without judgment, stay present, and connect the person with professional support. Call or text 988. Veterans may press 1 or text 838255.

Asking for help can sound different after brain injury.

A survivor may fear losing independence.
A caregiver may fear being judged.
A veteran may believe asking is weakness.
A child may not know the words for what feels wrong.
A family may not know where to begin.

Support starts by making it safe to say, “I cannot do this alone today.”

This Labor Day, we honor workers—and we also recognize people whose ability to work changed after brain injury. Productivity after TBI may require shorter hours, written instructions, quiet space, rest breaks, flexible scheduling, or a gradual return.

We also recognize the unpaid labor of caregivers. Different productivity does not mean less value.

Faith does not mean we never feel afraid, confused, tired, or uncertain.

Faith means that even when we cannot see what God is doing, we trust that He is still present. Hebrews 11:1 describes faith as confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith grows through hearing the message about Christ.

Today we thank ABBA, our Creator; Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who gave His life for us; and the Holy Spirit, who comforts, guides, strengthens, and reveals the gifts God placed within believers. You may feel delayed, but you have not been denied. You may feel different, but you have not lost your God-given worth.

Prayer: ABBA Father, strengthen our faith when we cannot see the outcome. Help us trust Your heart, rest in Your presence, and listen for Your direction. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

🌿 SHARE SATURDAY: A PRAYER TO ELEVATE US WITH HEALED HEARTS 🌿

Today, let us share more than a post—let us share prayer, healing, and hope with someone whose heart may be hurting.

Abba Father,

We come before You carrying every wound, disappointment, rejection, and misunderstanding we have experienced.

We surrender the pain caused by people we trusted, the confusion that made us question our value, and the isolation that made us feel as though we were walking alone.

Remind us that our identity is not determined by another person’s opinion, accusation, rejection, or misunderstanding.

We are Your children—chosen, loved, redeemed, and held securely in Your hands.

Abba, do not merely elevate our position—elevate our character.

Elevate us with healed hearts.

Elevate us with clean hands.

Elevate us with pure motives.

Elevate us with steady spirits.

Elevate us with godly wisdom.

Elevate us with renewed minds.

Remove bitterness from the places where we have been wounded.

Teach us to forgive without denying what happened, establish boundaries without hatred, and speak truth without surrendering our peace.

When our emotions become overwhelmed, steady us.

When our thoughts become scattered, renew our minds.

When our strength becomes small, remind us that Your grace is sufficient.

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
—Psalm 147:3

Heal the wounds we speak about and the ones we have hidden.

Restore the confidence that pain tried to steal.

Replace confusion with clarity, anxiety with peace, isolation with Your presence, and sorrow with renewed strength.

We believe You are guiding us.

We believe You are growing us.

We believe You are guarding us.

We believe You are healing us.

We believe You are preparing us.

Let Your will—not our wounds—write the next chapter of our stories.

In the mighty, healing, and restoring name of Jesus Christ,

Amen.

🤍 Share this prayer with someone who needs healing, encouragement, or a reminder that Abba has not forgotten them.
