Grades 6 th thru 8 th (excepting 4 th & 5 th grade Sun Valley district students as well)

1 st Practice: Wednesday November 1 st 630pm to 8pm.
(please have all paperwork turned in 1 st day of practice – will be handed out at parent interest meeting, or can be downloaded from website – SVABC required forms tab)


Practice days: Mon thru Thurs 630pm to 8pm, unless noted


All practices are at Sun Valley High School in the wrestling room/old annex gym

· Dual matches vs local Union County Middle School Programs
· Pre-Season kickoff & regular season individual tournament(s)
· Union County Middle School Wrestling Dual Tournament
· Union County Middle School Wrestling Championships (season concludes with this tournament, end of Jan, beginning of Feb)

Come see our Spartan Wrestlers face off against Weddington tonight 6:30 at Sun Valley! We wrestle in the old gym that faces Harris Teeter. $2 at the door and you get to see your favorite Spartans in a great dual match vs one of our county rivals!

Our Spartans had a great day of wrestling at the 2016 Southern Championships. Jake Dodson 1st, Elijah Harris 1st, Jared Hough 1st, Michael Cabrera 2nd, Grant Haney 2nd. Not pictured... Alex King 1st, Louden Gregory 1st. Also, great job by Isabelle Dixon, Kyle Love and Devin King! So proud of this group of wrestlers!!

Spartan Wrestling really came out yesterday at the Union County Championships. We had 4 county Champions and the season MVP. Nice job Spartans!
