SAPSC USPSA Shooting

SAPSC USPSA Shooting Indoor USPSA match every Tuesday night at Autrey's and Thursday at Atlanta Range & Ordnance, Newnan. Classifiers 2nd Tuesday & Thursday the next week.

Setup starts at 6:30 pm, on-site registration starts about 6:30 and shooting starts about 7 and lasts until about 8:30. Come early and help get things ready. Early registration online at clubs.Practiscore.com is encouraged. Match fees are $14 (non-member), $12 (member), $25 for family (non-member) or $20 for member families. First time USPSA shooters shoot for free! Join USPSA (at USPSA.org) and

SAPSC and shoot the second night free! After the match, scores are posted at www.PractiScore.com and we go to La Parilla to eat, talk and review our performance. Come on along!

Today is "match day" at South Atlanta Practical Shooters AND the feast of St. Gabriel Possenti, the patron Saint of handgunners. Legend has it that the young monk confronted a group of bandits who were marauding his town. He snatched the leader's pistol away and pointed it at him. The leader wasn't scared, saying that Gabriel was too afraid to shoot the gun. Just then, a lizard ran out onto the street. Gabriel aimed at the lizard and fired, killing it. The bandits then fled the town. So, celebrate this week by impressing folks with your marksmanship!
